At Newbridge College, San Diego East our Pharmacy Technician program, along with our Medical Assistant San Diego and Dental Assistant San Diego programs, is an 8-month course designed to fully prepare pharmacy students to compete and succeed in the San Diego pharmacy career field. Our students receive training on basic human anatomy, chemical processes in the human body, the chemical makeup of medicines, and an overall understanding of the scientific processes behind medicinal application. Our students will learn the critical awareness of medicine distribution, quantities, frequencies, and potential side effects. In addition, our Pharmacy Technician program will focus on the relationship between a pharmacist, the patients’ doctor’s office and insurance companies, ensuring our students are capable of communicating with various other medical offices effectively.

As a graduate of our Pharmacy Technician program, you will receive a diploma, allowing you to compete for jobs in pharmacies, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies.
